"Emailed to book a table in advance, would highly recommend doing this as they get fully booked. We arrived a bit early so ended up having a drink at the bar, that wasn't an issue and they added it to our final bill. I tried the salt and chilli squid for a starter and then the haggis burger for main, it was really tasty and filling. Although the view overlooking the harbour is stunning, sadly we were at the back of the room so couldn't see it but it's in a great location. Free parking is also available just outside."

"First meal in Scotland. This was one of the few places open on Sunday at 5pm. Even though the place says it is Indian, it is actually more akin to Bangladeshi food. I wasn't quite sure of the etiquette or how to order or what I was ordering, so I chose aloo gobi. That's not what I got though. I got a dish loaded with vegetables like zucchini and snap peas that taste like nothing in the United States. It was serendipity at its finest and unbelievably fresh. My wife had food loaded with garlic and it was amazing. One of my head the naab was some of the best I ever had. Rich, fresh, full of flavor. 100% recommend. Vegetarian options: Mostly not vegan. "American style diner with, of course, Scottish takes on American foods. For example, prawn cocktail is not plain boiled shrimp with cocktail sauce, it 's boiled shrimp coated in Marie Rose sauce which is sometimes just mayo ketchup. The burgers were good, the pizza was good. The scampi was breaded and not good and the thick milkshake was not thick at all. The atmosphere and staff were all nice though and the highlight was banofee pie!"

"Highest quality food and seafood in stunning picturesque setting. Seafood platter and fillet steak were excellent. it's worth the price for great food. Limited menu but they just cook the best local quality produce and present it beautifully. Great friendly staff here as everywhere in Orkney."
