"Although with at touristic feeling, Brauhaus has a genuine touch. And the beer from their own onboard brewery is certainly genuine! And good! The food is typically German classical Gutbürgerliches Essen and is not bad being what it is, but sometimes uneven in quality. Lots of spaces in this establishment with several dining rooms and also an inner yard, which is really pleasant in the summertime. Can wholeheartedly be recommended for the environment and the beer! If you want some food to accompany the beer then it 's ok. But not the other way around, so to speak..."

"The dach terrace is beautiful with a super view of the blunt pond. after a long walk we made a break there and decided to go to dinner there too. the service was very nice. that we eat uninhabited - but all fresh and tasty."

"Had a carving with roasted potatoes and bacon and salad. Schnitzel did not seem to have been tender as it was difficult to provide with knives. The order lasted about 5 minutes?? Service easy on sullen side. Wouldn't return."

"Arrived late in wittenberg and found the golden eagle comfortably for a fast meal. the golden eagle belongs next to the brewhouse wittenberg. the food and the craft beer are the same. my wilder (venison) stew was O.K. the sausage soup of my wife, who should be a meal, was a whole sausage in a potato mud without taste. the beer that was brewed in the brewhouse next door was the best part of the meal. both the golden eagle and the brewhouse wittenberg are very touristy. we were often in wittenberg and know the city well. there are much better traditional German cuisine, elsewhere found in wittenberg on side streets and hidden farms away. none of these were checked for tripadvisor."

"I understand that Wittenberg isn't a tourist hotspot with droves of American money spenders or cheerful european backpackers. However, it still is a charming little town and I have seen some great customer service and good food around this town. Unfortunately, La Casetta has a great outdoor seating and a quiet alleyway location working in its favor but the food and service killed it for me.It took us 20 minutes just to get a menu - another 45 minutes to get our food ( pizza, c'mon !).Also perhaps they seemed a bit understaffed on both occasions when I visited, but as a paying customer that isn't really my concern.The food was average and lacked any specific taste. Also it seemed to be prepared half heartedly in an attempt to clear the order ( in spite of the fact that we were the only guests there).I would skip it and head to several other great places in the markplatz.This can be a great place since they have a great seating arrangement, a little work on customer service and they can hit the spot !"

"We were on the occasion of a day trip to wittenberg for lunch in the farm industry. attracted by the positive assessments made here, we weren't exactly excited. a very cozy dining room and a nice service. but eating is just mediocre. the very packed teller are not very appealing either. and at the very small menu already at 12:45 on Sunday two dishes can no longer be offered, likewise does not speak for this gastronomic facility for a new visit we would not have had any reason to accept"

"We were tired and hungry after arriving on the train at Wittenberg, and Hanami did not disappoint. We tried fried rice with chicken and a chicken noodle soup. Both were good. Not the best Asian food I've ever eaten, but the friendly service and change of pace from German fare made up for that."
