"I visited this place on the recommendation of my wife's uncle...who's taste in food I have a very high regard for. And I must admit that I wasn't at all disappointed.This place is quite the hole in the wall with a very basic ambiance. On my visit ... I did not find a single tourist and that too in the busy month of January. All I could see was locals enjoying a good afternoon meal. As per the waiter's recommendation I ordered for a Chanak (a local goan fish) rama fry, a prawns rava fry and a tisrya (clams) rava masala fry... and a beer to wash it down with. OMG.... It was mind blowing. This is what goan food is supposed to taste like. The food was perfectly fried...not too oily and was very different from the regular vindaloo..sorpotel affair which have become the hallmark of goan cuisine. Over all... great taste and an even greater value for money. Thumbs up"

"We knew about this restaurant from a previous holiday when we stayed in tarika. in this year we drove out of benaulim to try again, and it was worth it, so much we went 2 times! golden prawns amazing!"

"Please forgive me to write this review from an English perspective. we just returned from lunch with friends to home and I can only ask why we haven't found this jewel yet? they can happen by thinking it is just another local restaurant. for local people. be not stupid! eating here is quite amazing, from chili filled bombay ente and lepo (sorry, if I miss the prawn curry and rice, it is all cooked to perfection and tastes delicious. if they like to pick up with the fingers, they just stick and remove the swirl column bone and eat the fish as it comes. unbelievable! note that the fish can be quite sharp if they don't expect it (love it! Our friend is vegetarian and she had a tadka valley and paratha (again, excuse for the writing that was great! many thanks for an unforgettable meal."

"The place has good parking facility and is located oppp church/ chapel. The place has veranda to sit and has upper level named as malo. Ambience is nice with all goan items being displayed and mario miranda prints being put on the walls......The menu also offers other than goan food. Suggest to try vindaloo and thier special mocktail. The only drawback is that no alcoholic beverages are being served and they are in process of getting thier licensce........"

"We were there for lunch. Place was busy had just one or two tables available. Prawn thali and Rawa Masala prawns were really tasty and cooked perfectly. Caramel pudding was just yummy. My only disappointment was beef chilli fry and no goan bread served with it. Service was good nice and happy faces."
