"Heard by a friend for the famous burger of charlie beinlich. after a past I was so decided in the aftermath to stop and try it. when they came in, they were different than ordinary pubs. very old school looking, feeling is like a hut deep in the forest in the 1950s. many wood, fish on walls etc. there is no menu on tables, there are black board at the bar and there are not many options, burgers/Cheeseburger, roast bark garnelen cocktail. there are no prices. server was food runner, barkeeper and server, as back in europa. I went with double cheeseburger, if you want to ride, it costs extra and it comes with koleslaw, which I don't care. I have set salat and mayo, very simple, I wanted to taste meat mostly. the meat was moist, very good quality ground beef, not too much seasoned, but bee and mayo helped it with taste, I was very satisfied, it is really one of the best burgers I ever had. I think for most people single burger is enough (it is 1/3 of a pound,) I was really hungry and went with double. I don't understand that people say that overpriced mcdonalds could save money safe but it's about quality of the meat, so I don't agree with these comments and people say that taking on paper is blah, I mean, people complain only about not important things, menus, taking, price. it was 40$ for every single person, and it was worth it! here's just cash. huge recommendation for everyone to try charlies burger."

"Some of the thinnest best crispiest tavern style pizza, a must go if your ever in the area worth the trip too, the inside is just like a old school vintage tavern look and the pizza is amazing worth the 45 mins wait for the pizza one of my favorites for sure been going here for years now"

"Have been to the one at Oakbrook, but this time went to the one in Northbrook and it was very nice. Food was really good as was the service.. bowling was lots of fun, but some balls need to be replaced. Had a few that had gouges in them so didn't roll to good. Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"Here's what you need to know: nestled inside Whole Foods by the kids Play area, Brook bar is amazing value for wine. Good sized selection and exceptional pricing. Perfect way to kick back and relax if you're waiting for kids to finish playing, your spouse to finish grocery shopping, you're exhausted and resting your feet, or ducking the rain/snow. Granite Counter space is ample, and shares the space with the coffee bar. Even though there is only 10 stools (give or take a few), there is always spots available at the bar, and has never been a wait in my experience. Last call is at 8:30, half an hour before the close of the store. Check out my pics to see the menu for cocktails, beer, and of course wine (since this is a wine bar). Prices are effective as of November 2017."

"I had dined at this location on several occasions previously and generally enjoyed the experience. My recent visit was a disappointment overall. The dining table was sticky and a Lo mein order was served cold. The previous diffused lighting had been replaced with overhead lights that were too bright, and the resulting ambience was more appropriate for a cafeteria."
