"Oh my...Where to start...John and Helen are fabulous. Our rental car broke down just outside of Oban on the way to The Whisky Vaults Hotel. John and Helen bent over backwards to help us. I truly believe that John would have fixed our car if Hertz would have let him...We were without a car for 3 days and John helped us with public transport so that we could get along with our vacation. The hotel is one very short block from the harbor. Hence the street is quiet and traffic free. Rooms are bright and clean. The bar is welcoming and well stocked with the best Whisky made in Scotland. If you want to know ANYTHING about Scottish Whisky just ask John! I believe it was a Jura 18 that caught my fancy. We are home with great memories...Jim and Deb O'Dell, Ed and Sue Benhke. May 2022."

"Amazing eating! I am not local and taxi driver recommended this place. I had the 'return of mac' from the special menu (see picture) and came another night and had baked sampi with salt and chili chips. the best salt and chilichips I've ever had!"
