"Great place. My buddy and I visited Oscoda and we said Tait was a great place. We sat very fast and were told the peculiarities. I decided to go with the Prime Rib for $18.99. It came with soup, salad, bread and potatoes. The bread was served with honey butter and both were wonderful. I had the millennium soup that was wonderful (almost like a chicken tortilla). The salad was average, but not bad. The main rib was HUGE and medium cooked, just as I had asked! It was fantastic and it became lunch for the next day. I expected a much smaller cut and was very pleasantly surprised. The potato, I ordered fully loaded potatoes, were good, not amazing, but good. The owner later came to our table to ask about our food and service. I had nothing but positive things to say. I had ZERO problems with service. Everything was contemporary and friendly. The food was amazing. Many ducks are about $20, but if they are something like the main rib, it's totally worth it. If I visit Oscoda again, I will return."

"Amazing, and I mean AMAZING Food!!! I was here on vacation from Canada. I got the BLT sandwich and it was the best BLT I ever had. So good, I couldn't finish it because it was huge and loaded with bacon. My family had the Blooming Onion, which was really good, perch, haddock, patty melt, everything was great. Service was great, staff was friendly, highly recommended this place! I wish we weren't ready. There was a young boy who worked at the front of the restaurant, who was very professional and mature for his age, he made small conversations with people who were on holiday there and brought the people to their tables, I don't know his name, but he was very nice."

"Always very friendly and there selection of both booze and subs and meats are out of this world. The owner couldn't play sports if he tried, but he knows how to smoke some great tasting meat."

"This rating isn't about food. The food was good and honestly my waitress was good too. I ate here over the weekend and forgot my hoodie. They closed at 9 and we left after that so I know no new customers came in. When I came back the next day the hostesswas very helpful in looking for it. The other waitress on the other hand who was there the previous night. Was very short andacting shady, wouldn't look at me and only 1 word response. Pretty sure she knew adsacty were my hoodie went. Needless to say mybad, but make sure not to forget anything"
