"Dinner in Honolulu, Hawaii...Looking for a late night meal, we searched our Yelp apps and found Volcano Skewer House. Located on the Ground Level of the 808 Sheridan Center, we found free street parking on Sheridan Street. Service was very friendly and welcoming especially since we didn 't have reservations. A table was being cleaned when we arrived, and we were lucky to get it!We ordered the beef, chicken, and lamb skewers and asked for no spicy . A small bowl of spices was placed on the side, but the chicken skewers were still spicy hot. The lamb wasn 't too gamey, and the beef wasn 't too tough. There was a tray which stayed warm by candles under it. The skewers were placed on the tray. Our used skewers went into the designated receptacle. We also had the scallion pancake crispy and a bit oily. The Garlic Eggplant was disappointing. It smelled delicious, but had a spicy topping with strange flavors and some kind of noodles. Overall, it was a fun experience! We enjoyed the whimsical decor and were happy that we didn 't have to cook our own food! Next time, we should get the mushrooms, corn, green beans, and bean curd!"

"This is a private residence, not a bar/shop. I don't know if the four people who check this place are rolling the homeowners or whether the homeowners run an illegal business out of their house. When they run a bar from their house it seems really stupid to advertise it on Google Maps. Maybe someone should contact the ATF or ABC to investigate. If it turns out that these four evaluators troll the home owner, then the ATF could not be too happy to investigate their fake Google list. Food for thoughts..."

"This is a very special place. My aunt started going here all the time to eat after her husband died because the staff is so welcoming and kind especially a lovely young man named Richard who treats her like his own grandmother. On top of that the food is fantastic. You can tell they use fresh, high quality ingredients and everything is delicious!"

"Outstanding value for your money. Great quality meat, and pairs well with their house-made sauces. I always get beer or soju there too. Owner is always very polite as too is the service. Easy to get a table unlike other bbq spots, and way more affordable!"
