"Location Via the serpentines you reach the old town of Sulz am Neckar. Parking is free of charge on the Neckar next to the city park. Here to downtown and up to the church you will find the Blue Grotte. Inviting with numerous flowers and herbal pots before, we were confident that these are also processed in Greek cuisine. Ambience A small beer garden between the herbs on the edge of the road leaves the southern atmosphere but we were still underway when entering the restaurant itself. The Blaue Grotte has been fascinating its visitors for 60 years. The Blue Grotto has brought the small vacation Grotta Azzura from the island of Capri to Sulz. With a lot of attention to detail and cardboard mesh, it was replicated. A magnificent color play with the illuminated niches in the corners on the ceiling. There's a shameful ambience. Only the newly painted windows to the street provide daylight. On the tables table runners, blue candles and numerous shells. Covered here with black spots here is not glued. The tables are partly too tight, but whoever catches a place at the round table in the grotto has it wonderfully cozy. The toilets were freshly renovated and the walls got a white paint, it smelled completely new. Service When entering, the staff and the family were eating themselves before it started in the kitchen. The service took over a power dressed entirely in black. Light linguistic difficulties led to misunderstandings. The incorrectly delivered drinks were withdrawn and exchanged without any condition. Otherwise everything worked quickly and smoothly. Food Mostly Greek specialties take the card but also pizzas of any kind. However, we remained faithful to Greek dishes. Calamari with butter rice and Tarama (9,90 € was our first decision and as the second dish of the Santorini plate with a Souvlaki, Suzukia, Gyros, Tsatsiki, Pommes or rice and mixed salad(11,50 €). The Kalamari did not come out of the pan, as promised in the map, but were nicely fried tulips and tastefully no tough thing. The butter had taken up a race with rice, which was more difficult to say, but butter is never wrong. The meat of Santorini plate was nicely juicy and delicate. The Suzukia nicely relaxed and refined with probably the self-made herbs. The Gyros wasn't on the map with this court. I still got a little on my plate. It was slightly crusty and well seasoned. The Pommes were too salty to me. The salad consisted of leaf salad, cucumber slices, some slices of tomatoes, also presumably from the garden and herb salad with carrots each sprinkled with a slightly vinegar vinaigrette. All in all a decent court. Conclusion: Blue Grotte Thesis: Where else?!!! This spell says everything. Exceptional atmosphere and good food in a place right at the Neckar."
