"Staff were very friendly and the facilities were great but the food I ate was average. I had the meatball starter and the slow roasted rabbit ragu for main and it was nothing that I couldn't have whipped up at home. The pizzas that I saw did look nice so I'd probably go back just to try them out. Reasonably priced but I did expect more hence the three stars."

"Did some research on Broadsheet before making a booking for eight last weekend and was not disappointed! Helpful service deciphering the menu for the uncultured of us, and the food was top notch The three cheese pide and turkish delight were pure joy. Super warm interior was also nice escape from the cold!"

"We were greeted with a really bubbly chick who went beyond and beyond for us (I cannot remember her name, but I think she is training to be a doctor or nurse). When buying drinks, she was more than happy to help us taste a cocktail. Eating was amazing, the flowers were so good! The whole place was great, happy and Brad Cox as always was super"

"I used to bring people to this bar as I'm a local. Tonight I asked for 4 drinks from the owner of the bar and received 3, having paypassed the transaction. I asked for the bartender's attention; she gave me signals with her fingers to indicate that I needed to wait 2 or 3 more minutes. Ten minutes later she came back and told me the I should know what I had ordered, and if she had misheard me, it's not her problem. When I argued the point, she took my drinks away and threatened to call the police. She slammed some money on the counter and told me to leave. When I asked for a receipt, she refused, then eventually produced a receipt that was not mine. Another bartender came with a phone in her hand and told me to get out before she called the police. I told her she was welcome to as I had done nothing wrong. Interestingly, they did not call the police. Eventually the owner produced my receipt saying "I gave you someone else's receipt because I just wanted you to leave". I took it and was glad to leave the premises. The owner obviously has a rather large chip on her shoulder (quotes such as "Don't look down on me like I'm just a bartender - I'm the owner!"). I don't usually hear that from owners of successful bars. I will most certainly not be bringing anyone to this bar again. What an awful experience."
