"Had a wonderful night here. I planned to take Omni father out to fully vegan restaurant, they were forced to cancel the booking and this was my fall back. He had fish and chips. I had a Mexicana vg Burger with sweet potato fries. Both were wolfed down. Mine, messy witg sauces and slipped patty but flavours were superb! Vg churros with dipping sauce and ice cream. Portion sizes were just right! Updated from previous review on 2021-07-25"

"We booked up a table for 6 of us to celebrate our sons 32 birthday on Sunday 15th Jan 14:30. When we arrived the restaurant was full and we had to wait in the bar area for our table to be ready. Within 10 minutes we were seated and as we already had drinks we put in our food order. The Sunday Roasts start off at £19 for half a roast Chicken, then its £20 for Lamb, Beef or Pork. None of us had starters as we know from experience just how big the meals are. My half roast Chicken came out with a Yorkshire pudding and gravy over the meat. All our meals arrived promptly and then followed on the simply superb dishes of vegetables and roast potatoes. We all did our very best to finish off all the dishes but we failed miserably. We had two dishes of Cauliflower Cheese which was divine. The Potatoes were amazing. The whole meal is just like you would expect from traditional home cooking. With every meal came another small pot of gravy to pour over your veg etc. The food was simply divine and there is literally nothing anyone could complain about. The bar has a superb stock of ales and drinks so everyone is catered for. Booking a table in advance is paramount as this place is so popular it gets busy very quickly and for good reason. We will certainly be back again in the very near future. Thank you."

"Our friends Tim and Janet, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary at Hurtwood Park. The whole thing was superb, the food the music and the good company of friends. Very little to complain about, except the ladies loos and the drive leading to the club, but hey we can forgive that. Thank you Hurtwood, but even more thanks and love to Tim and Janet.. Xx"
