"Ate here for lunch and in the evening. The quality of the food is very good at pub prices. A quality presentation and good service. Do try not to go too late in the evenings though. Even the fish and chips here is excellent,.....the fish perfectly cooked not overdone) and lightly battered, nice thick chips, and a lovely perfectly cooked broccoli and almonds side dish."

"A beautiful Wee café. looked outside in the sun. traveling with my mother, she went to order coffee and suggested that I look at the baked. many gluten-free and vegan offers. I had a pistachio biscuit/cheek and it was great."

"We used the Limpley Stoke Hotel restaurant whilst staying in the hotel for a mid-week overnight stay whilst visiting relatives nearby. We had driven here and there was ample parking for guests in the grounds though the car park did seem to get busier during the evening. The hotel is in what appears to be a former country house and is on a grand scale both as you approach it and on entry with its long reception corridor and high ceilinged reception rooms leading off this. We had decided to take our evening meal in the hotel and this was served in one of the large reception rooms. The menu had a good choice, offering either a la carte or a bar menu. I had the chicken curry and my wife the vegetarian curry and both meals were very good, served in a good time and of a portion size likely to satisfy the average appetite. For dessert we both had the apple blackberry crumble and again this dish was very good. The two waiters in the restaurant were excellent, very polite and helpful, checking back during the meal to ask if everything was alright. We thought that the prices for the meal were reasonable when taking into account the quality and portion size but also the service and surroundings. After dinner we took a coffee in the bar area situated in another reception room. The bar area was set up with a ‘real’ (we think a gas) fire, television and plenty of seating. The room was comfortable to sit in and had a nice ambience."

"This cafe is small but still easily accommodated our party of 5. A good selection of breads and fillings, happy to make alterations to the menu items as each order is freshly made. Staff were pleasant and overall feel is good."

"We had a great meal as usual it was perfect, service was excellent except we were shoved in to a corner to a table which was bare, looking more like a Butchers block. I’m afraid i was disappointed for the price we payed. Max"
