"Excellent steakhouse, our third visit. The crab cake app was absolutely delicious and a highlight. Steak au poivre was perfectly cooked medium rare, and the bone marrow was amazing although almost overpoweringly beefy with the steak I opted to spread it on some of their fresh baked rolls instead. We also had the skirt steak with avocado, which was good overall but it was a little salty. Polenta side was creamy and rich and the fried onions on top are addictive. You also cannot go wrong with any of the cocktails, and the service was attentive. Highly recommended!"

"Typical Diner Food, All Done Well. Hen I saw a very positive review from Chuck S., I knew we had to check this little diner out, and we did today at lunch. It is tucked into the end of one of the numerous strip shopping centers that makes up S. Church Street. I'd been by it many times, and simply never noticed it was there even though it can clearly be seen from the street.<br/ <br/ They're open 7 Am to 9 PM, seven days a week. They serve the usual diner fare a few appetizers, some soup and salad choices, a few sandwiches (including a Steakburger, and a Hot Dog), a number of plates choice for lunch and dinner, ranging from Fried Chicken (cooked to order, takes 20 minutes) to Pork Chops, BBQ Ribs, Hamburger Steak, Calabash style Shrimp, Fried Oysters, and much more. <br/ <br/ The offer daily specials that include Pot Roast, Baked Chicken with Rice, Chicken Pie, Country FRIED Steak, Country STYLE Steak, Spaghetti, Fried Flounder, and more. Most of the usual side dishes are offered here as well. Some items are available in larger quantities for take out only 8 or 12 piece of Fried Chicken, Brunswick Stew by the Pint or Quart, Chicken Tenders, Homemade Chicken Salad, and even Raw Oysters, from a 1/2 pint to a gallon.<br/ <br/ For lunch, we choose Baked Chicken with Rice, Fried Chicken Livers, and, of course a Chili Dog, cause it was on the menu. These plates came with 2 sides and bread (HPs or Texas Toast) for $6.99, with drinks at $1.89, same price as the Hot Dog. Sides included Mashed Potatoes, Mac Cheese, Fried Okra, and Pintos.<br/ <br/ Everything was good to very good, with the Baked Chicken and Rice being exceptional covered with a thin cream style gravy, it was tender, and very flavorful.The Fried Chicken Livers had a great taste, but were slightly over cooked. The Mashed Potatoes were the instant type, and the rice was Minute Rice, but both had a nice flavor. The Fried Okra was excellent, while the Pintos were good, but a little under seasoned. The Hot Dog was very nice, loaded with a tasty, meaty chili. Service was excellent, as well!<br/ <br/ Much to explore on this menu, we'll be back."

"Food was absolutely amazing. Delicious and very fresh. Who goes to an oyster bar and orders chicken, me and they deliver one of the best chicken dinners I've had in a long time. The Fish and Chips were great. Last the oyster my wife felt were very delicious. Strongly recommend this restaurant. 10 out of 10 rating from us."

"If I could give 0 stars I would! Literally ate there for lunch today and ended up with food poisoning that afternoon/evening. Called the establishment was completely calm about it (even though I had every right to me livid) and the manager hung up on me. So now there will be a visit from the Health Department ASAP. Watch out this could happen to you or your children/family!!!"

"Burlington beer works has to be one of my favorite place to eat/drink but yesterday afternoon I was disappointed.I was so excited to take my family to eat there for my dads birthday but I regret it completely.When I called to make the reservations the host was super nice and helpful. We got to the restaurant at our reservation time and for the moment we sat down it went downhill.To get our drink order it took a good 15 minutes and to get our drinks took another 15 minutes. The establishment wasn’t busy, it was moderate. We order appetizers that took the normal standard time. I asked the second server if she could please bring us some small plates since we were going to share to the appetizers we had ordered. Those plates never made it to the table. The third server we had didn’t even give us refills of our drinks. We ordered a Moscow mule and guess what we didn’t get it.We went through three server to even get our food. My daughter and I ordered chicken sandwiches and the chicken fillet was burnt. I ate their chicken sandwich before and I’ve never seen their chicken fillet burnt nor oily as yesterday. My daughter didn’t even touch it and she loves their chicken sandwich. The fries were super oily and burnt as well.I hate that I have to write this post because I enjoy going there for brunch. As a server to the public, customer services no matter how stress or busy an establishment is, is always important. You want to make people feel welcome. Yes we are Spanish speaking customers but we know English, we sure know about food, services and how the tip system works, if that even was one of the issue since we did go through 3 servers."
