"Very interesting selection of japanese flavours (yuzu muffin, bacon wasabi roll, various curry buns) as well as some western-style offerings. The pastries I bought were all good, the standout being the mentaiko bread, which was a robust savoury baguette with mentaiko (fish roe) butter.
Overall lovely bakery with some unique offerings, I'll make my way to Enmore again to sample some more."

"Had a great few hours with Carlos learning the art and science of macaron making. Good fun and easy to do but hard to do well!
We are inspired and bought a few things to have a bash at home. The macarons here of course, are delicious and now I know a well made one from a wannabe, I have a new found respect for the effort it takes.
Passionfruit version is our planned first use of new skills.
Thanks Carlos :)"

"One of my favorite cafes during my shop trip Sydney. Food here are usually really good, especially your eggs. Be confused or poached together, they are all quite consistent. My favorite articles here must be the cronsuts, his puzzle was just right and it was really aromatic. Expect long wait for this establishment, although the locals love it very much."

"The last time I was in the Hartsyard, it was more than a year ago and came back instead of trying more to try again at some point was the best decision of the night. Hartsyard is very close to the heart of Newtown - you will not miss the liveliness of this place. We sat in the bar, as we did not make any reservation.
Grief To start, we ordered 2 Entrees, the first one was the smoked trout - boy this dish is so easy, but tasty in his own kind. I love the texture of flavors with this plate, it's a bit of salt, a bit creamy , A little sparkling and pretty much crunchin is running through the mouth when they eat everything together with the hollowed chip. The tuna with Falafel was unique - but I think the Falafel was a bit of the dry side, although the sauce was delicious when they ate them together.
Grief For networks we ordered the fried chicken with bread meshes. This dish never disappoints. The chicken was super tender, the skin was very crispy, but not too hard. It was very well cooked. The mash was absolutely delicious on her own and with the chicken. It was very creamy, but not overwhelming.
Grief The lambs were ghost delicious. I loved how the skin was cooked to perfection - d. H. The skin was extremely crispy. The meat was a fatty piece himself, so it was very delicate. The flavors were very balanced. It was not too salty and it had the right amounts of spice.
Grief The dessert we got was the soft serving cone. They often change the flavors for this often, so it's more a special article. I enjoyed the soft serving cone pretty much. It had so many aromas, but none of the spices took over the white chocolate ice cream.
Grief Finally, the service was amazing. Anyone who serves us was very polite and well spoken. They knew what they did, and we loved how the bartender was attentive at any time, even if they made drinks :)
Grief I recommend you to try Hartsyard, and yes, it's worth the Trek to Newtown if you live far away from this suburb."

"In Short: Drury Lane is the quintessential patisserie, with a stunning display of sweet treats. Their biscuit sandwiches are a unique concept, and their savoury offerings will satisfy the most discerning pie or sausage roll aficionado For many of us, great holidays are defined by the sights, interactions, and sometimes even great food discoveries. But, then there’s also the lamenting of having such a finite window to enjoy that food discovery! You so wish you could pack the chef/baker/barista and take them back with you. If you’ve been down to Tasmania and Hobart, odds are you’ve munched on a cookie or tried a pastry at Sweet Envy. Fortunately, Sweet Envy’s chef, Alistair Wise...read more"
