"We went here for my mum's 65th birthday. A party of 6 adults and 1 child. A very Warm welcome. Clean and tidy. Brilliant choices on the menu. I had the cottage pie with seasoned veg and it was to die for. Delicious. Would definitely come again and recommend to family and friends. Well done all."

"Lively place, beautiful ladies servier. in 3 small riders, we were warmly welcomed and sat in the new chick. beautiful cake and donoughts! coffee was also very good. the children were offered at the top and were dyed in leaves and crayons. come back in any case, a beautiful fund in oakengates!"

"Enjoyed Mothers Day Treat, the menu offered a great choice of starters, we all had different starters and we tried each other’s, Pate got place, closely followed by the mushrooms, prawns soup, they were all delicious. The carvery meats were so tasty, you...could pick out of the Beef, Lamb, Turkey or Gammon you could pick out of the the slices were generous, plus a great selection of potatoes, vegetables etc all of which tasted fantastic. I’m not a pudding person but again so much choice, Sticky Toffee Pudding with Ice Cream got place. The staff were very busy as all the tables were full, but we were seated, served we very much enjoyed our family time."
