"I went here quite by accident. After a long day of walking around Mont Royal I just wanted to eat and enjoy a drink. Crudessence certainly offered both. The woman behind the counter was very nice and helpful. I had a tuna wrap and a ginger smoothie. I have to say that although the wrap was well made I could not get used to the rice paper wrapper. The smoothie on the other hand I would heartily recommend. I would recommend going to this heartily just don't choose the wrap if you are like me and not a fan of rice paper."

"Excellent! I’ve dined across the street many times and today was my first time here. They are both great! The Main has really nice, dry karnatzel and their smoked meat is nicely cut and delicious. Well worth a try."

"We decided to eat there early on Saturday morning 9:30 too early too early to avoid the full crowd that would come later. A first glance is a relaxed and domestic feeling. We immediately felt comfortable and sat immediately, at a table... our choice of place was 1/4 full. Service was friendly chatty!; they know their menu well and will give recommendations. Fun fact that they are free samples of their freshly squeezed orange and grapefruit juice before 10 a.m. this morning not sure whether this is done every week. I ordered a cappuccino and the BLT sandwich. The plate was too big for me to finish, but very tasty. My companion had the avocado toast he loved, but noticed that there was not much salmon against the amount of avocado and other ingredients. The only drawback is that it is a small room and tables are very close, which means that you can easily hear other ppls conversation knock over their drinks as you sit/go. It is obviously a popular place for locals in the area, so if you are nearby, for a taste of good food. It is more on the expensive side; as two plates a cappuccino a large juice went over $50.00 with lace. There is also a terrace outside that I suspect will be open when the weather gets warmer."
