"Can't believe I've never written a review for Stella's! I consider them to be a Grand Rapids staple and I've been here plenty of times now. Great bar atmosphere and super laid back. Depending on when you go, like before an event downtown, it may be super busy and you'll have to wait but I've typically been pretty lucky about getting a quick table. Their drinks are reasonably priced as is their food. I recently came here for dinner on a Thursday and they do $5 off all dine-in burgers on that day. The last few times I've opted for one of their impossible burgers and I do like this quite a bit. Their regular burgers are good as well. I will say I have had better burgers elsewhere around time but this is a good standby. I am not a huge fan of their fries or their ranch but it's not a dealbreaker. It's cool that they have arcade games around the place that you can play and old cartoons or tv shows playing on the tvs!"

"Recently attended a Slipknot concert at Van Andel in Grand Rapids and my wife and I took our daughter out to eat before the concert. She directed us to Stella?s Lounge in downtown GR. Upon entering the graffiti decorated bar we heard Devo?sUncontrollable Urge was playing on the sound system. This was followed by Iggy Pop?s I Want To Be A DOG. I knew this was mykinda place . When the food arrived , we were impressed with the quality and quantity of the servings. Service was quick andpolite. I will be visiting Stella?s Lounge again"

"I ordered the meatloaf entrée. I had it the first time I visited the restaurant back in Nov. of 2022. I went there on New Years Eve 2023 and the meal was shorted. There was barely any mashed potatoes on my plate. It was a fraction of the amount compared to 2022. I informed the waitress and she stated that they may have ran out of potatoes from serving it throughout the day?????? Instead on the placing the meatloaf on a bed of mashed potatoes, the potatoes were spread around the meatloaf like a sauce. I barely saw the mashed potatoes, I thought it was a sauce. That meal cost $25, and I did not get what I paid for. Will not be returning and would not recommend."
