"That is the size of a normal medium pizza and it is seriously one of the best gluten free pizzas I've ever had and I make a pretty great 1 myself so that's a huge compliment. Also the chicken wings are fantastic and their natural state only has a marinade and then you use your own dipping sauce. Again fantastic tons of flavor very gluten free and not over nor under cooked. Counter staff happy and very well trained. Next time I'm in town I will be back."

"A decent American diner with good food. Though given the quality of food, the price is little on the higher side. The menu is limited but well curated. I tried the sirloin steak and the red hot chicken. Visited the place twice so far and will definitely go again. Though getting a table for dinner is a bit tricky here. The dessert menu should be upgraded. I tried the triple baked cookie and didn't like it much."

"My husband and I went to Blackfriars yesterday to celebrate our anniversary. It was Awesome dinner date place! Great new specials, expert wine pairing advice and lovely atmosphere. We had the Japanese Calamari as an appetizer, I had the seafood crepe and my husband had...the curried steak and shrimp special. All excellent. We finished off the evening with festive Irish coffee for me and Carrot Mango Cake for him. Then we went for a short stroll to view the new Blackfriars Bridge and saw a heron on the river as the sun set. It couldn't have been more perfect. I think Blackfriars has ascended to new heights."

"This restaurant has fantastic food and ambiance! My only criticism is that their music soundtrack is extremely sad, for the hour and half my wife were there we pretty much only heard tear jerker type songs. Lots of John Mayer, travelling soldier by Dixie chicks, just to name some examples. It didn 't seem to suit the environment but hey maybe I just don 't know. My wife and I were also cut off after only 2 drinks when to our knowledge we gave no sign of intoxication and were quietly keeping to ourselves. It was a little disappointing as this was my birthday dinner and I would have liked to hang out for awhile longer and order another round."

"Very nice atmosphere and decor and friendly, considerate staff. The pistachio encrusted salmon was delicious as were the Brussels and mashed potatoes. A delicious dish and I loved the chocolate filled mints that they bring at the end! A nice surprise and wonderful touch!"

"After a trip to the Grand Theatre to see Grow, we stayed at Bernie's for dinner. While I always have the BBQ chicken pizza, my roommates chose new and different articles. Our server, Kaitlyn broke a fresh coffee for me, while my diners were quickly served alcoholic drinks. Service was excellent and our meals were delicious. Bernie's is always our favorite stop on the way back from the theatre in Port Stanley. Never disappointed!"
