"The ice cream is pretty good here and the guy working there (who I assume is the owner) was nice and very attentive. The layout is strange because when they go to scoop the ice cream they disappear behind an unfortunately windowless wall, and the overall vibe feels a bit “sterile” but the ice cream is good. Worth trying if you keep getting the same other places over and over. It’s nice also to be able to get away from the busy-ness of the main street, as this place is set a bit back from the road."

"Great diner on the Taconic Parkway! A friend of mine got stranded here (hit a deer) and the folls at the diner took great care of him until I could get there and pick him up... and then they fed us a great dinner, topped off with absolutely delicious blueberry and strawberry rhubarb pies. I'd recommend just stopping by to grab a bite to eat and skip the hitting a deer part I'm sure they will serve you you with the same friendliness and promptness!"

"Unsure how you could give anything less than 5 stars across the board to the Impudent Oyster. Best meal I’ve had in years would have cost way more at other spots in Chatham. Linda was a phenomenal waitress and great for a good laugh. Will be back 100%, could not recommend enough! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"I called before arriving to make a reservation and was told I did not need to make one, and in fact they were not taking reservations. When we arrived we were given a 30 minute wait despite the open tables. When I asked my friend if we wanted to wait, the host decided to comment on my private conversation in a rude tone. However our server Gavin was amazing. Best person ever. His service was excellent. I feel bad he has to deal with this management. I believe it shows his character that he hasn?t quit yet. Food is overpriced but good."

"I wrote this bakery off a few years ago when I went in looking for bread or rolls and all they had were sweets. But recently, at a large family gathering we bought two cakes and ended up arguing over which of the two was the best cake ever. Today we had a smaller gathering and all of us wanted to take home some black forest cake. So, 3 cakes in a row were absolute winners. I recommend this bakery unconditionally."
