"The last time I was here, I was out for her $1 in 2018. fast forward four years later and through a pandemic, happy to say that $1 oyster still exists! this place is busy so we make reservations by 4 clock, which also the time they open. we sat outside because I had my dog with me. very pet-friendly and there is a heating when they are cold. parking here can be tricky. they have a small amount like 8 cars when they are happy. otherwise it is road parking for 2 hours to 18 hours. if they get their at 4 o'clock, then they are quite set for the rest of the night. may circle around a few times or use the paid partie. this street is busy with other restaurants such as burger lounge and puesto. happy hour is from 4-6 o'clock. equal to $1 oysters and it's just west coast oysters. it was at the smaller end. we ordered everything from their happy hour menu. I have the Caesar salad and the Margherita pizza. both are delicious. the salate is enough to 2-3 max. the pizza was a 12 inch that is equal to her dinner menu, but cheaper. it tastes better hot. if they let it sit, the cheese is set. their drinks are delicious. they seem to use jalapeños in a few things like calamari and their drinks. I have jaleberry, an infused tequila with strawberry jalapeño with limette and agave. it wasn't sharp. If they want a little kick, they ask that the felge is spicy. it came out perfectly!"

"Excellent coffee! We tried different drinks and loved them all. My favorite by far was the iced Philtered Soul since I’m a hazelnut lover and that’s always my go-to flavor. It had sweet cream and the coffee was so flavorful and high-quality. I also loved the iced coffee rosé, it was super unique and I don’t think you can find a drink that has this flavor anywhere else. It had a flowery rose taste with a smooth milky cream. All in all really amazing coffee. Highly recommend!"

"I was on my way to mission beach when I found this place. Initially I thought it was gone as there was a sign on the door mentioning the closing of the business but realized it was the one next door! Seems a lot of people were getting this confused while there.There is a small parking area but plenty of parking on the street. This place is a must go to! They have an ever expanding menu of food options including pastries and sandwiches. Their drinks are also super delicious and not overly sweet. I ordered an iced pumpkin spice latte with almond milk and a banana blueberry walnut muffin. The latte was delicious: just the right amount of spice/sweetness, smooth espresso and a great authentic taste. The muffin was also lovely: good balance of walnuts, blueberries and banana. The staff here are super friendly and the service was fast. You can’t miss this place as it is right on the main road. Definitely recommend!"

"Absolutely LOVED this restaurant! The food was delicious--the best I had during my week visit to the area, and the service was impeccable. Not to mention the view if you sit on the balcony--awesome! I had the Tagliatelle Alla Portofino and it was soooo good! A must if you're visiting SD/La Jolla!"

"What can I say but awesome. I first came here in 1994 when the current owners father used to run it. Now that I have come back to SD the place has been kept the same. I am happy since they always had a family friendly environment and suggested good items. Every item is always fresh made and served with care and a smile."

"Cream puff is my favorite, and then Blueberry and Applecake Donuts! Once I bought a dozen creams. When I came to the car, I already ate. ANNEX I have to get back to the store and a dozen more. I love this donut shop. I always have to stop here when I get to this neighborhood. People behind the counter are friendly and always have a smile on their face. My child says these are the best donuts I've ever tried, even I have to run a mile to get it. Totally worth it!"
