"We were lucky to stay across the street from shine cafe, so we were able to get in as soon as it opened. great food, and i loved that they had just eggs for an egg substitute. a wonderful place to grab breakfast/brunch!"

"RAW carrot cake! Unfortunately, it’s possibly the worst “carrot cake” you can have it’s actually a really dense wet muffin instead of a traditional cake and has cranberries and flate white chocolate chips, very strange and disappointing for a place that calls itself a bakery. The danishes taste old or frozen and if it’s not that, something else is off because the pastry is chewy and stiff instead of flaky and leaves a bad gritty aftertaste. Like other reviews, most pastries bought were sadly tossed because they were pretty bad. What a waste of money. You’re better off getting desserts anywhere else even the grocery store pastries are better. Are you ok Crust? Seems like a lot is not going well there.Nothing tasted fresh and is definitely not worth the prices upwards of $4.50 per pastry. Also, isn’t quiche supposed to be refrigerated? They have them stacked in the display case which doesn’t seem safe.Sad experience :"

"We had lunch there with our Brother in law. What a great choice as there is good choice and the prices are very reasonable. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was great as well as the Beer and wine."

"Good Deli Food. Good lunchtime fare. A little pricey, but I suppose thats what you get when you are in the heart of Victoria right down the street from the Empress. <br/>Had their Beef Dip to go, and it was pretty good. I loved the crusty bun they used for the sandwich.<br/>Got my order to go, so didn't get to enjoy the ambiance of the restuarant, but it seemed nice.<br/>I might go back, but it would be nicer if they had some lower price options."

"This Wednesday, four of us passed Sandwich Corner Cafe and we wanted to go in for a cup of coffee and have a rest. When we walked into this cozy cafe, the owner greeted us warmly, we ordered four different cups of coffee and a serving of chicken Panini. Panini was very delicious, the coffee was authentic, everyone was satisfied, and we would come here again. Highly commended!"
