"Sree Krishna is a firm favourite of mine when it comes to the curry scene in Tooting. It has long had a great reputation and for good reason The cuisine originates from Kerala, which boasts the accolade of being the spice capital of the world. So of course, the restaurant offers flavoursome dishes (at a good price). The service is always extremely attentive and the staff are more than happy to give recommendations on food and drinks, so don't hesitate to ask! The atmosphere is nice and relaxed, so would be a good choice for a date or family meal."

"We were out for a few drinks in highgate and looking to go for a curry. Seen decent reviews for here and as it was nearby decided to try. As it was on the meercat meals 2for1 we thought that a bonus. When we arrived there were 4 people in the restaurant who left shortly afterwards. When ordering we were told we could only order traditional dishes if using meercat. Not good as we both had chosen other dishes. Doesn't make sense as the dishes were all similar prices anyway. It basically rules out 80% of the menu. It defeats the purpose of offering discounts to get people in then having unsatisfied customers as they won't return. We've tried loads of places on the meercat and when it's good we return and some of them we visit regularly as we eat out 4/5 nights a week. Needless to say we won't be returning. Pity as the food was ok even if it was lacking in atmosphere and they were rushing us bringing out mains when we hadn't even finished our poppadoms. Think they were looking to close early as it was dead."

"Delicious! Very pretty food, lovely decor and service. Had the shakshuka and burnt aubergine plates. Food arrived quickly and my goodness the egg yolks were so deep orange and poached to perfection"

"I don't claim to be an expert on Indian food, but if there is better than Indiano, I'd love to try it. Very generous portions of tasty food at a more than reasonable price. Service was a bit slow, but I put that down to the food being cooked from scratch. I will definitely return."

"Been to this gem so many times. Every time they surprise me, their quality is incredible. The restaurant has around 10 tables, nice atmosphere and friendly staff, always ready to help and recommend. I have recently visited the restaurant with friends. We started with poppadoms. Then we ordered chicken and lamb curries, with rice, chapati, 3 different types of naans and some vegetables. Everything is so delicious and tasty. They cook everything at the moment, the ingredients they use are really good. Well done, strongly recommended!"
