"On holiday in Torrevieja we came across this Indain restaurant. Although the outside seating area is not the best it is worthwhile actually going inside the restaurant. They have an early evening menu between 5PM and 7PM where you can choose any chicken curry from the menu together with rice or nan bread for 5euros.95 cent. We were also given pompadoms and dips while we waited on the main course. The curry was excellent and we enjoyed it so much that we in fact returned twice during our holiday to experience the full menu. The satff were friendly and very helpfull in offering advice about varioud dishes.The retarant itself is lovely and clean. Its only problem is the outside eating are. It seems to actually be a small area of the car park for the adjoining take aways. The retaurant is situated just down the raod from Carrfour Planet beside Tthe mercadona supermarket. We will certainly be returning there on our next visit to Torrevieja"

"Fu seemed to be open so we figured we'd give it a try. A friendly lady took us to our seats and menus and drinks were promptly delivered. The restaurant is not authentic Chinese, but international. So there's Japanese food for example, and french fries etc. We ordered a Chinese salad and edamame for starters, and chicken and pork dishes for mains which were not familiar to us and sounded interesting. The Chinese salad was a European salad with olives, ham, lettuce and tomato. Nothing Chinese about it, we even had to double check if we got the right dish. Salad was fresh and tasted like a salad should. Edamame were OK, but overcooked. The mains we did not finish the chicken dish turned out to be beef which tasted old, and the pork was equally unapetizing. Fried rice was (par)boiled rice with vegetables from the freezer and ham. So, surprisingly the best dish was the mixed regular salad. And that's not really enough to make a visit worth while."

"I have an apartment a few hundred metres from here and so it 's kind of became my 'local '. I love a good pint of Guinness and it 's always good at O 'Connors. Although I have all the TV sports channels at home I like to walk down to O 'Connors when Celtic are playing and I 'll have a few pints and buy some dinner. The Lasagne is very good as is their home made burgers!! I 've never had their breakfasts so far, but I must try it. The other thing to mention is that the bar is right on the Acequion beach and so the views (especially at dusk) are terrific. You also get a lovely breeze coming off of the sea when the weather is hot."
