"Just go. I stayed in the North End on a girls trip over Labor Day weekend. Our apartment was 2 doors down from Piccolo Nido so we decided to give it a shot. We were all so glad we did!! We had an amazing dinner and ended going back twice after that! The owner/chef, Pino, was incredible and his entire staff was outstanding! They really made us feel like old friends and family. I can’t wait to come back to Boston. When I do, I’ll be having dinner here again."

"Great eating great mood and a very central location. the decor was perfect for the hip high-end izakaya concept restaurant and bar. beautiful bar menu with a large selection of Japanese whiskys and much more. this place adds elegance in bostons nightlife. is a must to check location that is not disappointed!"

"The menu and the information/ events published on their website is false or completely outdated and therefore not what they 'll really experience as a parade. And do not waste their time to get information from them before they visit. the specified number is completely useless. I have tried 6x over two days! they never respond, do not respond to email requests (which I also tried). my group and I went to birthday dinner. we hoped to enjoy some menu items because we saw them on the website, but if we were available in the restaurant none of these items. we also thought that we 'd enjoy a live jazz music session or best any kind of entertainment / music (as was published on their website), but when we were asked there and we were informed that they 't offered entertainment in months. it seems to me that the " had enough time to update the website. Maybe the wrong advertisement is intentional and designed to hook bait. not sure. it was also very cold in there that made for an unpleasant culinary experience on all others. there were two small personal heizer oscillating to provide warmth for a huge space. the group on a table, not far from us, ended with one of the 2 heaters to turn directly on them because they felt no heat when it was in oscillating mode. I really wish I had a better experience and better things to say because aesthetic the restaurant is very beautiful. Unfortunately, they have to work on their management and everything else. based on what we saw on the website, we were all very excited to go here. eating, ambiente and entertainment all seemed so attractive. unfortunately they fell very short."

"Made a reservation for the patio but asked to sit inside near the bar because it was raining outside. Wait staff was extremely helpful in finding us a table that we liked. The bar staff that waited on us were awesome and the Restaurant Week menu was amazing. I originally chose this restaurant because of their Orin Swift wine selection (Abstract being our favorite). We branched out and tried a different bottle of wine and it was amazing, Soul of a Lion. We will be returning soon to try their highly rated selection of charcuterie boards that look amazing!"

"Buyer BEWARE! You add 20% Gratuity to each tab and tell you nothing! I wish I had read the reviews before dinner here. My mistake! Was in Boston, so we were tempted by the Lobster Benedict offer. The staff seemed stressed and short staff, but were friendly and came to us as soon as they could. Eating was fast 4 stars, the bartender was friendly and kept our mimosas full 4 stars, minus stars for car add 20% tip and not tell us. I lost 25% because I didn't know it was their policy. It feels very shady and I was demolished not to go a nice feeling. If adding Auto Gratuity is your policy, good, but it must be clearly reciprocated and/or verbalt to the guest. Unless you're in business to tear people off, then do whatever you do!"

"I never leave reviews for anything, but I had such a great experience here that I think I should say something. My friend and I came here for my birthday. We sat in a cozy stand on the back. The ambience was perfect, intimate and calm. Our waiter, Anthony, was a total treasure and went the extra mile for us all night. The homemade rolls with honey butter that he brought out for us first were probably the best I've ever eaten, and I'm afraid I could long them for the rest of my life. I got the Steak Frites, the friend got the Risotto and we separated a bottle of white wine. Everything was perfect, and I really don't use this word easily. I had such a wonderful time here and enjoyed every moment. Every penny worth it and I can't wait to come back."
