"We have eaten here several times spread over a number of years. As I have written in an earlier review, the need to purchase wine by the glass or bottle, rather than "en pichet", made lunch rather more expensive but the quality of food, wine and ambiance were good. However, today we ate lunch there with friends and were (unpleasantly) surprised by a change of formula - no menu de jour but a choice from either a gourmet selection (€25) or a la carte (with main course alone over €20) - and then with wine on top (€20 a bottle or more) and coffee extra. The meal was good - but really too much food for a lunchtime. I raised this issue with the staff but met with no understanding - we shall be surprised if the restaurant survives the winter once potential (returning) customers realise the new approach and compare with other good restaurants in the vicinity at ca. €15 for three courses, wine and coffee!Interestingly, the restaurant's web site at the moment gives no indication of this change - also a point of criticism."
