"We went for lunch at this restaurant as it was recommended by another restaurant we were hoping to dine at but they were full.We both chose the €28 three course menu that had a choice of three dishes for each course. We both chose squash soup with a nut oil and the fondant of beef for the first two courses. Desserts were cheese and an assortment of chocolate desserts. A good bottle of wine and coffee and the bill came to €84.The soup was extremely good and the slow cooked beef melted in the mouth. Excellent surroundings and the owner was very helpful, even explaining how to cook a quince we had bought on the local market. Have been in Toulouse and Castres for three days and this was the most memorable meal we have had.Definitely worth visiting."

"The midday formula is quite disappointing: the crudity plate is poor and insipid, and yet ns are in the summer. .cuterie plate not better, unworthy of a region where the charcuterie reigns as master! main dish: grilled beef tab with fries that the color suggests that the oil needs to be renewed. the meat portion was enough for me (2 small pieces) but it is totally inadequate for a man. My husband had taken duck in sauce: hard meat. It looked like a ready dish. .point positive: we went out of light table to start working... but there is definitely better to be hangers."

"Fantastic meal in a unique little restaurant. We dined on a freezing cold Thursday night in January. The restaurant was quiet and we were one of only 2 couples in the place. Our starters of mussels and goats cheese were perfect and our main courses of duck with herbed de provence and fish in a creamy leek sauce were fabulous, followed by creme catalan and coffee. With a bottle delicious red and a glass of house white wine the total bill was €89 which was fantastic for the quality of the food. Our hostess is a talented artist as evidenced by the fantastic charcoal drawing or her grandmother and the chef Monique is remarkable. Do give it a try. It will help if you have a little French. A fabulous place and hope to see it in the summertime when you can dine on the little balcony on the river."
