"We purchased various wine and spirits from Gales this week. Enjoyed a bottle of Sierra Grande Cabernet Sauvignon tonight delicious. Then sampled the ‘Legend of Kremlin’ vodka and it was utterly delightful, ridiculously smooth and not sure it will last long ????"

"I have been there with 1 Friend of Mine and idk maybe we was just 2 people the Food wasn't that what i expected. Maybe i felt how it looked from OUTSIDE it must be that good from INSIDE but was a lil bit dissapointed. I must mention that the other elements such as the meat and vegetables, were satisfactory. It is my hope that the establishment takes feedback like this into consideration and makes the necessary improvements to provide a more enjoyable dining experience in the future. "Weve visited Archie's a few times just for a few drinks and we decided to go for the meal deal they have on a Wednesday thurs and Friday, 20£ for steak for 2 and a bottle of the house wine! Its def worth it! Steak was nicely seasoned and cooked to our liking, proper homemade chunky chips, peas, fresh mushrooms and onion rings, and we ordered sauce which was £2 I had diane and OH had pepper, they were lovely! Hubby liked the house red which is a bonus as hes a fussy bugger when it comes to his wine, i had rose which was a bit dry for me but drinkable! Plus wat you dont drink you can take home with you! Staff were friendly and atmosphere in the pub was relaxed and warm!! SO DEF WORTH A VISIT!"
