"I visited Serena's on a Friday towards the start of lunch hour. It was not the best group experience. The setting was well decorated and almost nostalgic. The location was also convenient. There was almost too much stuff in some areas, like the bathroom. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive. I ordered from the lunch specials menu. And then the food ended up probably being the big let down of the visit. While the portion size was pretty big (the picture shows the last third of the sub), the taste was lacking something. The basic sub, Italian sausage, was pretty bland and all the flavors and colors just blended together. And so I asked others who said their pasta was okay but the chicken was not. Another said the chips were good. "

"Buyer Beware! If doing store pick up, please be sure to read the store pick up policy. Unfortunately, I did not and after reading the store was transitioning to online I purchased 6 bottles. I was not able to pick up my olive oil till a week after due to work and not realizing the store is only open Tuesday thru Friday. Due to this my items were restocked at a 15% fee for a tune of $30 which is a 750 size bottle. I only found this out after going to the store to pick my items up and was casually told it has been put back. When I asked if my money had been refunded I was told I should receive it within 7-10 business days minus 15% restock fee. I was told a phone call was made to me. However, I have no voicemail. I was asked did I get the email sent to me. NO...I did not. Which all of these should have been evident as I was in the store to pick up my order. No remedy offered! While I try to support local small businesses this is what makes me hesitate to do so. I post this to clearly say always read before you buy. If you decide to buy proceed with caution. Sometimes trying to help others (small business) cost you. Previous interactions were good and I always went into the store to purchase but because of that interaction I let my guard down and am now paying a 15% restock fee and no olive oil to show for it."

"This is great for the experience but I wouldn’t make it a regular spot. Since it is a tapas restaurant the dish sizes are VERY small, even to share with one other person. You can easily rack up an insanely pricey bill at this place just trying a few things. Note that part of their dining section is upstairs and causes great traffic jams so if your party is not good with stairs you should make a reservation ahead of time. I didn’t get to take pictures of everything that we tried, but most things were pretty delicious. The chicken croquettes were absolutely TINY, like smaller than a donut hole. Some things were not easily shared (like the fried chicken ball stuff with cheese and topped with pickles pickled radish is one piece we needed to cut up) and I feel like that should be indicated on their menu which dishes are shareable and which are not. Their dessert portions were just as tiny as the tapas portions. The desserts were also extremely lacking in flavor. I think the Apple hand pie would have been better if served over a vanilla bean cream because the cream on the plate was flavorless and not giving anything to the dish. The sweet potato cheesecake was also flavorless and could have used some cinnamon or something to liven it up."

"The article in the menu was the pork. I thought they had a nice selection of articles. my problem was with the service when they are 5 people, they should make a reservation for 6 and say a person canceled. the only way they would record 5 was to put an end seat on a 4 person table. I also had a problem with food service. the tapas entree came shortly after we had received the first cure, so we had to get the waiter back. there was certainly not space on our little table! the waiter was knowledgeable and good, but the server could only identify the eating after the Cuban name that was Greek to us."

"These guys are so cool! Not only do they let dogs in, I feel like the workers here legimately want to get to know you and find you a good bottle of wine. My group accidentally stayed a little past their closing time (sorry! and they were so chill about it and even chatted us up for the last little bit."

"Great place with a large selection of beers. Connected to a food place so you can eat, drink, and play arcade games all in the same place. The only small annoyance I have is that they say no samples. When there's 30+ taps you need a sample or two to narrow down what you want."
