"No doubt the food is good, but like most restaurants in Kyoto the quality of beef has always been high grade. The price however does not reflect their level of service. Not sure if it's because we were foreigners but after waiting 30minutes for a table for 4 we were notified AFTER our table was ready that their 2 main dishes of beef were sold out. Not worth the wait or the price. If you're really insistent on trying this spot out, I'd recommend lining up before they open to dodge the constant queue. Tons of shabushabu restaurants located nearby @half the costs and same quality of beef; also with English speaking staff who go above and beyond to serve you!"

"Grilled Kobe beef was superb. Service was good but they kicked us out with half a bottle of wine left at 10pm sharp, even though we were seated at 8.30pm (with no option to come earlier even tho the restaurant was half empty)."
