"Whilst staying at the Château we decided to try their own restaurant ... ‘123’ ... What a mistake! We were politely greeted and shown to our table. We ordered our drinks, starters and mains. The drinks came quickly enough but the starter, Fois Gras, took forever. And let’s face it, Fois Gras doesn’t take any preparation time. And why was it that 4 other tables who all arrived well after us were all served well before us? One of these 4 tables even had their starters, mains AND finished their deserts while we were still waiting for our mains! It really annoys me when restaurants take the piss like that, so we just got up and walked out. Maybe this chef or the waitress doesn’t like the English or perhaps its because of Brexit? Who knows? But whatever the reason there is simply no excuse for such blatant ignorance! Disgraceful."
