"We have eaten here during our visit to gengenbach on recommendation of a friend of mine and we have enjoyed it very well. the restaurant is located in the middle of a beautiful valley with an impressive forest next to it and looks like a history. we have eaten very well, at a good price and they have taken care of us very much! "We stayed by a bike traveler for an evening in Gengenbach and have reserved a table on the basis of the good reviews. We were not disappointed, the flame cakes are super tasty, we still had a salad on the way, everything freshly prepared and the price performance was right. We felt very comfortable and will surely look back in again when we are in Gengenbach again."

"We ordered the currywurst, cream of garlic soup, the Cordon bleu, one lemonade and one coke (40 euros). The server was easy to communicate with. The soup was great but the cordon bleu was on the salty side. Servings were huge for us. Glad to have found this place for a late lunch in Gengenbach."

"Excellent quality price! we ordered a carving (skin chop) with pommes and an salat with Grigla chicken. In addition to these two dressed, two sauces with mixed vegetables with the yogurt sauce were really well served! the bathroom, not to underestimate, were clean and I noticed various facilities for small children like the wind table and disinfection towels. honest prices recommended!"

"We stayed there for the Steak evening (always Fridays). The meat is exclusively from own limousine cattle, large portions and uncomplicated if you want another supplement. Something negative is that it is too cool in the guest room - we were there already in October, November, April and May. Maybe you should heat the open fireplace."

"This restaurant has a lot of traditional German food, and will not break the bank. You will not go home hungry! I ordered the wienerschnizel and an extra side of spatzel, and both were delicious. It also came with a side salad and fries. The side salad was wonderful, the fries I could live without. Oh, and you also get bread before your meal which is yummy! Another plus is that you are also able to order smaller portions of meals, which was more than enough in my case. I still went home stuffed!"
