"As soon as we walked through the door we felt welcomed. We had breakfast of fresh coffee and pastries which were delicious. It was clear that the bakery was popular with locals as well as visitors. The owners and staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I loved their Cabot Trail lunches to go inspired idea. Would definitely have gone back (more than once) except they were closed on our remaining two days in Baddeck."

"An easy ten-minute drive from Baddeck brought us to this beautiful, tucked-away site. A collection of rustic buildings sets the tone. The dining room is cozy and simple, combining elements of Scandi-Zen-Canadian. The food is an absolute delight. Each of the ten courses is incredibly thoughtful, creative and beautifully presented. The wide range of ingredients works together surprisingly well. Highlights include cider cured scallops, grilled bread with buttermilk butter (simple but fantastic)!, and sesame ice cream on a barley cake with blackberries. But all of it was superb. Service was quietly excellent. Exceptional value for a uniquely unforgettable experience."

"Overall this is a good spot. The place is located on the side of the building. Interior during the pandemic allows for reasonable seating capacity. Service was also good and quick. The menu options are straightforward and prices are agreeable. We ordered the chicken burger combo, and a clam combo as well as an iced tea. The burger was very good, breading on the patty was crispy and the burger was appropriately mayo'd. The lettuce would have been crispier it was a tad wilted. Additionally the burger was pretty small. The clams were spot on, excellent breading. Iced tea was good. Not super sweat. The one thing would mention is the fries. The texture was good crispy outside, however a critical flaw was present. A complete lack of salt. The issue is that once out the fryer the things harden up and without that initial salt kick any salt you try to add on basically bounces off. Oh one big plus one of the knives we got was made by Thor. So that's awesome. Overall good."

"Great place! regrettable when we came in, but the service was not slow at all. the Quinoa cube was also very good, although it was cold, unless it should be served cold. still very good overall, can not wait to come back and taste my bakery everything looked so delicious."

"It was a good surprise to see they had a GF options. Food was nice and the staff were very friendly. Take a walk outside and see one of the best peaceful and breathtaking sight."
