"No need to Google for reviews about where to eat. This is the best cafe around Lake Wendouree, hands down. The food is good. It's dog friendly. And the staff are genuine, friendly and caring. Very glad we stopped here and we will definitely be back."

"I come here to the pokies every now and then, and this bistro is always busy, so I decided to try dinner here one night. This is one of those places where you pay before you eat. I wasn't that hungry so decided to try the soup of the day. Meal came out less then 5 minutes after I ordered and came out barley luke warm. The soup was the worst kind I had ever had. I wouldn't be surprised if it came out of a Coles home-brand tin, because that's what It tasted like. Best thing was the bread on the side. No flavor and no seasoning. Staff very friendly and price was cheap. I definitely won't be eating here again."

"Enjoyed food, coffee and service here January 2017. Visiting Ballarat again July '17 and looked forward to another visit. Breakfast and coffee again was delicious. Lots of yummy treats available too."

"Forgot why i stopped coming to the drive through subway in ballarat grilled wrap meat is always cold when you get it grilled, i dnt mind waiting for my food, its the lack of hot food thats annoying, next time ill remember and go to the wendouree store."

"This IGA store has almost everything you might need to prepare dinners after a long day touring and snacks to pack in your bag to take with you but the prices are definitely high and higher than a lot of other similar stores. From basics to already made food of various cultures, flavours and needs but......... at a high price!You will find a higher amount of products and clearly labelled for dietary restrictions such as Gluten free, Vegan, egg and dairy free.Best variety of the above listed needs but the customer service and knowledge is pretty basic.For those who are after meat for a BBQ or dinner it is quite a bit dearer than other places and often not as fresh as desired, so I guess you need to beware.Because of such a great variety of speciality needs I have found mould growing on some bread.I would go here for speciality food if you are willing to spend higher prices as allot of those items are good but thoroughly check them over.Lot's of parking and a few other stores close by."
