"Positive is location and lovely staff. Negative is the pool area and dining area. Needs a major refurbishment. Dressing room was very dirty and overall it’s not up to standard. Rooms are fine. Food was only ok, had curry, was only just ok with horrible shop bought naan bread, shame when you think homemade naan bread can be done with 2 ingredients. Also I personally found the bar/dining area so cold and not inviting. The lighting is terrible. All in all. Very disappointing as it has huge potential. Even the entrance could do with a deep clean."

"Arrived in and were greeted immediately and seated. Great breakfast menu especially for the kids. We asked about the pancakes and she (waitress/owner? encouraged us saying they were lovely and boy, was she right! They were deliciously homemade crepe-like pancakes, sweet and light. Possibly the nicest I’ve ever had! I also ordered a portion of brown bread and was also pleased as it was still warm and obviously homemade. Not only was the food ‘simply delicious’ but the staff were extremely welcoming. The atmosphere was extremely relaxed and comfortable. Will definitely visit again!!!"

"We had not booked and said not in the hotel, but after a short wait we sat on a perfect table in the extensive bar with the same menu. the whole place was with people to heaving, due to a mid week. special offer on stays during the week after a bank holiday. Nevertheless, the ambiente was good and the noise level was acceptable. the menu is quite attractive and wide (but conventional), with what seemed a lot of local products, but my first choice of a mixed seafood board was finished, so I chose the same, but baked as my main course salmon, cajau, garnel and another I forget. all very well cooked, but it would have been nicer without the bread crumbs. everything was good (big suppe) and the net came with sweetheart. not to eat at a bad place, but book and go a bit early for the full selection."

"I recently visited this small cafe/restaurant with a group of 20 people. It was one of the best lunches that we had during our visit to Ireland. The owner and chef Sinead was delightful and provided us with huge platters of sandwiches (taking extra time to provide a seperate platter for the vegetarinas) and the most wonderful homemade soup. The service was efficient and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. This is well worth a visit."
