"I get takeout from here at least once per week. The food is delicious, consistent, and the portions are generous. I've never had to wait long. "Visit Date: September 4, 2022 I came here for a second time with my boyfriend's mom, and her handicapped friend. They are so nice here. The waiters and waitresses my boyfriend's mom and her friend have had when they've gone here before I went with them have always stopped by the table to say hello. They are always accommodating to make sure we get a table for my boyfriend's mom's friend who needs a transport chair. The food service is as quick as can be. The rolls with the honey butter are so delicious. I'm a vegetarian. For a brief time period I went back to meat, than I tried being vegan, now I'm back to my vegetarian comfort zone, I should have just stayed vegetarian but it happens. I still find plenty to eat here. I tend to be a junky eater so there's a few nice fried food vegetarian options. If I'm actually eating some vegetables which you know would be good for a vegetarian they offer a country veg platter as a meal which is good to know. I like Texas Roadhouse's a lot of chains I'm not a fan of but this is a good one."

"I probably should've read the recent reviews instead of just looking at the amount of stars. I was starving and had no groceries in my fridge so I decided to give this shop a try. I was starving so anything would taste good you would think. Based on previous pictures they seemed to give a generous amount of protein (2 3 pieces stacked of chicken in chicken parm pics). I'm not really a sandwich person because I find it quite rare to be wowed by them besides some really good ones on the must eat sandwich list of nyc. I agree with other reviewers that it's odd how there are no prices listed when previously they had the prices written. That does make the cost subject to change but I would hope that is that not the case on a daily basis. I ordered based on the yelp pictures and went with the chicken parm and big mitch. When we got the order. I was like wow these are big. The two sandwiches were a tad over $28. I was honestly surprised a sandwich cost this much but it does help that they are big and hopefully good. Anything is worth the price as long as it's good. I take a bite of the mitch and gave my partner a look. He's like let me guess, chicken is dry? Replied yeah..and no flavor. Maybe add more pesto and put it on both sides of the sandwich? Not sure. My Italian friend owns a shop in the boroughs and makes killer sandwiches. I don't know their secret for success that they always get long lines everyday but I do know you will never get a dry bland chicken. As for the chicken parm, there was only one layer of chicken! Man I was super disappointed. I specifically ordered this for more chicken. I understand why they put less sauce so it's not soggy but maybe a tad more sauce would be helpful. This was equally dry and soggy. The cheese was really good and helped. I'm a huge supporter of local business, especially mom and pop shops. I think growing up in the boroughs really spoiled me with food choices. If you're hungry and just care about portion, I guess this is a good option around here. Honestly, I just drive back to the boroughs for food. Probably not economical and gas friendly but anything I intake needs to be worth my calories. I workout way too hard to consume food not up to par. This shop looks very clean and welcoming."
