"This place is great! We had breakfast here twice, and both times it was outstanding. Coffee is wonderful, claims to be locally roasted (not sure if it?s there or Anchorage), all the variations you can think of, but my straight black was perfect. Good food choices for breakfast, the homemade biscuits were awesome, and the bacon some of the best I?ve had. It was very busy both days, but the staff was upbeat, efficient and friendly. Crowded inside, but a great view of Healy Mtn. on the deck. Highly recommended!"

"Undoubtedly excellent views, it would be hard not to have a good outlook at that elevation but the food is passable at best and they are trading on the view. Warning… the usual AK sticker shock and then some. Also a word to the Brits, the fish and chips is in fact fish and CRISPS!"

"If you have a car, eat here! If you do not have a car, take a tour with Black Diamond Tour Co. (Specifisch recommends the horse and the car that includes dinner). One of the best dinners in Alaska. With the tour you can taste almost everything you need to offer in the restaurant. I wish we had time again. (Music of the Tour)"

"A great restaurant in the McKinley Chalet resort. We both had braised short ribs that were amazing. The salad with a round of fried goat cheese was terrific. We also ate breakfast there twice and those meals were delicious as well. The staff is delightful and each one had a story to tell about why they are in Alaska."
