"Vinnie the team are always so lovely and friendly. Staff know all their regulars by name, remember our orders always nail it every time. Hands down the best coffee on the beaches! Can’t beat this place for friendly service and the best coffee. Cannot recommend Pod Bar more highly."

"Good atmosphere and an interesting menu. The waiting staff were friendly, but things were a bit haphazard - beers and water arrived quickly, but wine (ordered at the same time) took two reminders to get the bottle to the table. We requested the bread to arrive before the starter/entree which it did, but only about 5 seconds before which, I suppose, we could have been clearer about. The food was ok, but not memorable. Dumplings were a bit on the dry/rubbery side but the portions were very generous and we certainly couldn't have eaten more. At $70 per head, including tip, it seemed like quite a lot to pay for a couple of glasses of wine, a beer and two courses, and there's a lot of places delivering better value, I think.So, not one that I'd put on a list to visit frequently, but I would be happy to go back and try again if someone else wanted to go there, and it would only have taken minor tweaks to make this an easy 4 dots instead of 3."

"We were eleven people, almost all of whom wanted something different. However, despite the queue the orders were swiftly taken and correctly delivered a few minutes later. The Thai grilled fish was very popular, as was the crumbed, and battered fish.There is a wide selection of fish and other seafood.Highly recommended."

"We went for a caravan because we didn't want to eat. we did not want the burgers with chips, and they were happy to sell them as takeaway without chips at the same price for a little focus on the $.in this time, and a bit more on the customers, would be in order."

"Nondescript but comfortable little cafe serving great coffee and surprisingly good Chinese food. From the spring rolls and dim sims for starters to the Mongolian lamb and sweet n sour pork for mains, the dishes were high quality and tasty and all at a reasonable price. Friendly and attentive staff. Will be back"
