"A small cozy ancient restaurant with a tasty food, which cannot leave any person indifferent. In the menu you may find a big variety of dishes, which can satisfy even a very demanding customer nice choice of fish, different types of meat, vegetables...accompanying by a good wine or traditional beer. What I liked most in this restaurant was a special mesmerizing atmosphere. I felt myself a local inhabitant sitting inside the original Priest's house, as if I was transferred in time to the ancient Amrum. It was the first time for me when I tried asparagus, which can be offered to you as a side dish or complimentary to any dish. Must say that asparagus under creamy sauce was melting in my mouth leaving a very nice aftertaste. What I would like to say is that we are a couple who travels a lot. We visited many places, saw a lot, ate in different restaurants, drank in various pubs..... but this place is really worth visiting while staying on charming Amrum!"

"In the middle of the quiet fog outside the season it is difficult to find; on a Sunday we find a sign on a rustic reetdachhaus with small entrance in the first label “Island-Krug”: from 11:00 to 17:00. a table shows the current name of the company: “Dörnsk an Köögem”, which is referred to as “Stube und Küche”. a caffe with small decoration, exhibition of antiques and curiosities, as well as tea shop and shop where they can buy a lot. in the inner it is cuddly, old, original and angled. the clean and tastefully staged furniture give the impression that they sit 100 years ago in the living room of grandma. the offer is regional and rustic. waffeln, sandwiches, pots and small things – all offered by a cheerful, direct and sometimes singing dame that probably made the call for a call here. everything seems quite authentic, even if something is placed touristy. we take tee, flee, a waffel with eierlikör, the tasty bread and a few warmer liquid type. tasty bread: round full grain bread is rich and thick with spicy and rustic tastes already a small meal; the waffel thick and square probably from an old waffel iron surface with solid cream set and in the deep viiiiiel egg liqueur from the finest. in the neighboring table is served a hearty boil stew in old dressed and fed with grinning mien! superfashioned and well suited for a relaxing relaxing recovery and what to bring and collect here!"
