"We came to this beautiful historic home for breakfast and dined on the verandah overlooking the lush garden. We both had ‘the duchess’ which the menu says is a smaller version of ‘the duke’ consisting of egg, bacon, sausage, homemade beans, mushroom and tomato on toast. While it says it’s a small version, don’t be fooled, it was a pretty large breakfast. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal and coffee. Service was good, we only wish the weather was better!"

"A good family oriented restaurant Kids welcomed, friendly staff, feels like bit like home but i don't have to cook or clean up. A winner for me, especially since my lot loves pasta.<br br/>I can enjoy a non-pasta meal off the main menu. They do pasta platters where you choose a mixture of differnt pastas for a set cost. This is ideal for a family who after work want a quick yummy feed. Though at the rate my kids eat, we would need more than the platter! For me, the highlights have been the main meals (fish of the day veal special). The meals could be served hotter for adults. I was not blown with the pasta but kids certainly love it.<br br/>I have tried after work for a quick bite with the family i was in out in less than a hour. this place!"

"We just visited two days the chillies indian restaurant along with family. We had a great time. The Indian dishes specially Ghost Biryani, Chicken Tikka are very very delicious. "Visiting Hobart, I dined alone at this iconic Italian restaurant. The room has a lovely feel, staff are friendly and professional. My bruschetta with mushrooms was very good. I had the steak which was slightly overcooked (medium, not medium-rare) but very good nevertheless. Good wine...list."
