"Having walked around trying to find a place to eat that didn't have picture menus showing pork chops, eggs, and chips, we came across this little gem of a place. A curtain was drawn across the front door, but once inside the welcome was warm. The restaurant area was like eating in the owner's own home. Nothing pretentious, just friendly and cosy. The food was excellent, especially the local bean stew. I had the daily menu which included wine. I thought I was getting the customary single glass, so I was pleasantly amazed when I was given a whole jug of refreshing red house wine. Just perfect with the bean stew. The couple that ran the place were always coming up and checking to make sure the food was being enjoyed. It's a place that gives you a little insight as to how it may be if one were invited to a Spanish family's home for a meal. A very satisfying experience overall."

"This place was suggested to us at the tourist office when we commented on the apparent lack of vegetarian options for eating out. It did not disappoint and we ended up going there twice out of our 3 day stay (we may have gone 3 times if we had found the place sooner! Maria welcomed us with a smile each time and was very friendly and helpful. She was very patient with us as we tried to practice our Spanish too. The food was freshly prepared and really nice... it made such a change from the diet I had got used to since arrival in Spain which was predominantly just bread, cheese or egg in one form or another. We were encouraged to see bottles water only available in glass bottles and no plastic straws... they are a very environmentally aware business. We would definitely recommend this hidden gem of a restaurant especially if you are veggie or vegan although there are also meat options."

"It is a place to go only if you do not have any other chance available. The service is so low while we were sitting a whole table stood up and left without paying. Normal food of road restaurant and nice building very illuminated. Clean bathrooms and restaurant."

"Very good roast duck, typical dish for several decades in this restaurant. it is located by the river and has a fairly large terrace. excellent treatment of those who attended us. a typical place of the area that all the inhabitants of the surroundings know. also, next door, an ideal zip park for the little ones to enjoy the place."
