"I have reviewed this restaurant twice before, and the only reason why I am not doing another lengthy praise, but this time I have to highlight that we had a takeaway and the food was as good as it was sitting in their restaurant. This...is by far and away the best curry in Southend, serving food with Kerala influence, and had to put another review and acknowledge you can get a takeaway from them. Lamb and potato curry, grandmas chicken curry, fish in banana leaf, curried ladies fingers, steamed coconut spinach and the incredible Paratha. I can’t stop eating theses dishes. Stunning food. Absolutely stunning as always."

"Have visited a few times and it was fine. But this time, the last time we will be going, it had deteriorated. The first thing was the table. There was old dried food stuck on the table right in front of me, so I had to keep a napkin over it. There were grease marks and crumbs. Yuk! Looked like the table had been laid without being cleaned first. There is clearly no oversight from the owner and the staff are too lazy to care. Do they think we won't notice? They give a free starter of bread, dips and salad, as do most Turkish restaurants. Bread and dips were fine, but the unappealing salad, comprising mainly sliced onion and red cabbage, had some lettuce which was actually rotting around the edges! The mains were passable but very dry. The owner needs to get a grip, or pay the price of their neglect."
