"Alrose Garden is an indecisive eater's best friend. The menu is not huge but they offer a broad range of dishes from schnitzels, noodle soups, hotpots, right through to bar snacks; and what they do offer, they are damn good at. <br>

Pork and chicken schnitzels are what most people come for. Giant pieces of meat are flattened and coated in a katsu batter before taking a dive in the deep fryer. The result is a thin, flaky schnitzel with maximum crunch and no soggy fall-apart coating. Accompanying slaw and purple rice completes the meal at $16. <br>

Compliment the schnitzel with a big bowl of noodles and dumplings in chicken soup ($14). This item used to be named 'homemade noodles' but I'm glad they have now changed the name as it certainly was not made in house. However, these are fresh packaged noodles so texturally there is a lot of bite and they do not lose out to any handmade noodles I've tasted. <br>

Fried squid legs are also a great accompaniment to light Korean beer and the dumplings are thin sheets of dough encasing generous fillings. This place has never disappointed me and is my go-to restaurant when I simply cannot decide what to eat. The interior may be a bit outdated but their food is tried and trusted!"

"If I could give this place a 0 I would..... went in there on my own for a simple drink. Was greeted well enough. Sat down with a menu and told to push the button when I was ready. I decided, so pushed the order button as instructed. I could see my table number come up on the screen. Waited, waited, waited.... nothing. So I pushed it again..... again.... saw the number come up... after 15 mins... I got up and asked if I could order. She took my order. Sat back down.... waited, waited... waited.... nothing. All I wanted was one drink. So I got back up after another good 15 mins... ordered again. She looked at me like - what happened? Sat back down. By this point I was gasping for air as they had just lacquered the floors.... so I asked if I could move outside. I showed the girl where I was sitting... she said yes, no worries and left... and proceeded to bring sooo many other people their drinks... another 10mins went by still nothing.I went back inside and said...

"A good vibrant Korean style cafe specializing in cakes and fusion drinks. It opens till late, so this is a popular hang out spot for the locals. The cakes are presented nicely and not too sweet. The organic green tea latte is really good!????

"Strathfield is packed with many different cafes and GJ is probably the most popular one as is the best In addition, I think that that the drinks and desserts are a bit pricey imo for the taste and value but the best thing about this place is the spacious seating, air conditioning, and free wi-fi. It's really good for some reading and studying."

"Used a groupon voucher for the royal india banquet. the food and the service was absolutely terrible.<br>

the entrees werent freshly cooked and seemed reheated, the curries were bland and were a massive let down. the food took a long while to come and they didnt even include everything as it stated in the voucher. <br>

please do not waste your money and time by coming here."

"The Breadtop bakery chain is so prolific in Sydney, with a store in every suburb it seems, that it has become my go-to store for snack supplies for the kids. And it's especially nice when you arrive to find things straight from the oven. Those twin sausage rolls always seem to be a favourite. <br>

We always like to check out the cake display and marvel at the cute dog cake (anyone who has ever been to Breadtop will know what I mean)."

"Damn ripper roo! hoo roo this place was amaz-ING with a captial a (as in a for a hahahhahaa). the chicken pieces were so crispy and had such a bite (as if you bite it) each bite was like a golden wedges piece sky, so crispy and crispy, oriental sky. I am not quite sure what the cook has brought into the season, but it makes me wish that I could cook astonishingly Korean as he could or that I was Korean! hehehe! the service was painfully fast (as in me hardly finished my picked radishes before a steaming baptism goldun widges of the huh was beaten before me). .mayhaps nextime I'm just staying...read more"
