"It was dismaying that on a recent visit to Shiraz my first and last the establishment presented us with an intentionally misleading bill, devised to confuse patrons into paying double tip. This restaurant automatically charges an 18 service fee on the bill we were a party of 3 . This usually would not be that big of a deal, save that our waitress could not have seemed less interested in our party. She forgot to put in one diner's meal, only noticing when she brought everyone else's entree. She didn't even apologize for this. Later, we would have ordered desert but we couldn't get her attention even though we were the only diners in the restaurant. When the bill came, we noted the 18 fee and gave the waitress 2 credit cards to split the bill. When our receipts came back to sign they read Pre tip total with a line. Our waitress did not bring us back the original bill so we had to ask for it again. Upon examination, the pre tip total was in fact the after tip total. Straight up deceptive billing practice. When this was brought to our waitress' attention, she met the info with a bored shrug. TLDR: Food is unremarkable, service bad, billing deceptive."

"Since the Pre-Covid had not been here and this place was not disappointed. Food was just as delicious, some new menu items. Everything was still on point and very tasteful. We have the shells that are a decent portion for 3 of us. We wish they had an option for the bread without the chicken drops, because we dipped the bread in the shell sauce much better. The garlic bread that came with the shells was very delicious. We have the normal chicken and also half the piri piri chicken. Every dish from appetizers to dessert was consistent that we enjoyed everything equally."

"Owner is a big guy and his staff is very friendly. Food is great. He always takes care of me when I command them. Always give its customers garlic bread and a bottle of soda on the house. Great place and property!"

"Gayle's Depot Square Farm Shoppe is a great place to get a quick, delicious meal and at a fraction of the cost of the big chain breakfast restaurants!! Two members of my party had the Thanksgiving Griller while I had the Meatloaf Griller. We ordered friesand pickled beets as sides. Everyone was very happy with their meals!! If you're ever in Watertown and you want a quick andsatisfying home cooked meal that won't break the bank, give Gayle's a try. You won't be disappointed!! ????????"
