"They removed all the vegetarian options off the menu. It 's a shame because they had such good dishes. When asked if the Chef could prepare something, the response was that There were no vegetables in season. Hard to believe when all the other dishes have sides. Bummer! Love this place too."

"This bakery and its other branches never properly stock their pie warmers. This leads to a spiraling effect of fewer customers. Also, please, please turn up the heat on your pie warmer. Birdwoods is too cold too. I ordered a coffee and it tasted like...the machine was overdue for a clean. Bitter coffee is not pleasant. I like Lovells products but the lack of service, cold pies, weird decor, and poorly stocked pie warmers are making me want to go elsewhere."

"Stunning setting and great way to spend a day. celebrate a jubilee and enjoyed the signature flight. they make their own brot, which is served directly from the often, beautiful and warm and a good opportunity to start the meal. we decided that the staff chose our wein for us and found our waiter to be very good and we thought the wein was also perfect. all the staff we met were very friendly and it was a great note to get a voucher for the cellar door after lunch. we will surely come back to a long lunch with friends."

"First time here and thought the food was ok. Ordered roasted potatoes with eggs and sausage and a mimosa and covfefe at the end. Sausage was juicy but my main brunch dish wasn?t what I expected. It was very basic. I may give this place one more shot but the price for dishes are pretty high when the portion size is tiny."

"Jillian was such a lovely teacher. She was warm and welcoming from start to finish. My partner and I did an individual session with her and made delicious cashew cheesecake, pot pie, and cashew cheese. Yummmm. It was fun and relaxed and paced well to fit our needs. We could tell she really cared about making the experience an enriching one for us—such great hospitality. Jillian walked us through each ingredient and each step of the recipes and offered cool teaching snippets along the way so that we really gained a deeper understanding that we could take with us after we left and apply to other dishes. And when we finished, she made us fresh almond milk and served us some of her yummy curry out in the garden. We picked tomatoes and ate them right off the vine. Then we took a sweet hike. It was a great day!!"
