"Great place for breakfast in Salamanca. The room outside is good, but indoor tight. Eggs Benedict to die for it. Coffee is ok. Service Hit and Miss."

"Great place to stay staff were always helpful and pleasant rooms were clean and new towels everyday while we were there which I loved, close to restaurants even though we had a car a walk to everywhere salamanca markets the city harbourside so many restaurants to choose from, it was the best place to stay still quiet but still so close . We loved our stay and will definitely return we had a balcony and a washer dryer in our room shower pressure was great and kitchen had everything even though we didn't use also had a fully stocked mini bar. Cafe downstairs to grab a coffee and Japanese or Italian restaurant just a few doors down if you don't want to walk far. The stacker parking is complimentary for customers we only used our vehicle twice while we were there because of the location. You don't need a vehicle if your staying here everything is available to shuttle buses and tour buses along the wharf. Thank you for a lovely stay!!!"

"Usually I love eating at Liv-Eat and most of them are great but the one on Liverpool St in Hobart is shocking. Both times I’ve been, I was waiting upwards of 15 minutes before I realised they had forgotten about my simple order and I had to remind them. The first time it happened the lady was lovely an offered me a refund but the second time there was no apology or anything, even after making my order incorrectly. I would avoid this particular store in future."

"The outside of the Brooke Street Pier is stunning as is the seating area of the Bright Eyes Cafe. Signage was limited so it isn't clear the coffee shop is infact Bright Eyes until ordering the coffee as it was printed on the paper cup, if there is a sign we certainly missed it. The minimal style counter had a handful of food options to order, not inviting to have a pretzel with coffee early morning so only had the coffee. We ordered two coffees and were freezing cold as the big windows in the cafe area were open on a cold Hobart winter's day. It made us drink our coffees and go fast as it was too cold to stay seated there. The coffee was okay, not the best we've had and there was no sugar at the tables or at the counter, we returned to ask for it. Wouldn't return here we like to drink in coffee in glass or ceramic, paper cups are for takeout and it didn't match the gloss of the location and serving coffee just doesn't taste the same in paper cups so didn't find anything special at all about this place unlike the write up gives it."
