"BURGER REVIEW: Wife, son and I were craving burgers and this hit the spot! Fresh, tasting juicy burgers and the fries had a perfect hint of seasoning salt. Workers were friendly and fast service. EGG, CHEESE AND HASH BROWN BREAKFAST BURRITO REVIEW: WAY TOO MUCH hash brown in it; tasted like I was eating a potato burrito sprinkled with some eggs and some cheese. Disappointed coming from a place that makes great burgers."

"I really wanted to like this place. I love their ethos and the fact that they make almost everything from scratch in their kitchen. Based on the bright reviews of friends, we finally made it to Whittier. I admit, I was a bit careful with the fillings in Burrito; I love rice and knew I would miss it. As a coveted potato lover, I was thrilled to taste the style of the house. I ordered the al pastor Burrito and knew within a few bites that this would not do for me. I answered in the affirmation when the nice Lord asked if I wanted everything, but my Burrito showed no traces of cebolla, cilantro, or the avocado crema that promised the menu. If the beans and potatoes (both without texture) had any taste, it was completely masked by the aggressively seasoned protein. It wasn't even sharp in the Scoville sense; it was simply overpowered and lacked the typical, sweet counterpart of pineapple. If the Burrito was less than $14, I could see how I could try Veggie Y Que again because I want to spend my money on small, vegan companies. But after the al pastor, I'm not in a big hurry."

"Compared to other small Mexican spots in Whittier, this place is ideal for a fast going out or diving in, if you don't try in a?higher restaurant?. However, many Mexican restaurants with better or equal good food on Greenleaf blvd in uptown and envy much higher quality up to ?location vibes?. Mr.Giant really shocked me as they have the microwaves in sight because the kitchen is on your face. They use the microwaves for almost always meal/Menu items. And the quality has slowed down from earlier. Customer service also varies according to who you get. Young girl is beautiful, but the young man who works there is repulsive and always acts too busy or just disturbed, you can say customer service is not his thing. The older women stare simply and do not say a word not even Hello, as your standing there are waiting to be helped out (sometimes the young man prefer to be cleaning and picking up, so leave cashier area unattended)"
