"There were 5 dings that were not available like all fish. they forgot to light up so I had to stand up and do it myself. the waiter was nice, but embarrassing. no manager available to talk. we were a great group for a special occasion very disappointing. the next day a message called to try to talk to someone, no call back no manager."

"Definitely a special place to visit if you are doing a celebration while visiting NY. We had high tea and it was one of less pricey options in the city for that. We sat in the fancy chairs and it was fun but harder to see the views. The food we had was good. Definitely not 150 dollars worth but again you are also paying for atmosphere. Extremely attentive service. The lemon tarts and the chocolate cheesecake were the highlights."

"We were looking for a place that served yucca long story,regarding the proper way to prepare it) and unless we want way uptown, there seemed to be nothing in my immediate area until I found Tropical Sensation. From the outside it doesn 't look like much, but once inside you 'll finds a clean, well laid out neighborhood place with a menu that would be ideal for lunch or dinner we went for brunch). The servings are large so you can definitely share plates. The quality of the food is vert good and the prices were in-line for the area. The service was friendly and prompt, making a return very likely."

"Food was great!! Music was so loud you couldn’t hear anyone at our table, and you could see everyone else trying to talk to each other over the loud music. We asked them to turn it down and the waiter said he couldn’t ask anyone because the volume was set at that loud. Really?? No volume button?Waiter was AWFUL! Very flippant when he FINALLY came over. He had just been standing around drinking a beverage at the bar for a long time. Finally came over and took our order, didn’t write it down then proceeded to screw up 3 times. I corrected him before he left our table twice… still screwed it up!! Then when the food arrived to our table, blamed me for his errors which was rude to say the least! . He spent his time socializing with coworkers or customers and not waitering. Never checked on us to see if we needed anything, of which we had no drinks. Even the guys bringing out the food were angry with him. The gal that seemed in charge just walked back and forth to her booth and looked as angry as ever hating to be there we heard her say. Did nothing to help a busy lunch crowd. The gal at the bar.. same. Did nothing! Guys in back did all the work!!! I’d avoid this place due to their terrible customer service!!"

"Perfect authentic Italian post broadway. Superb food, excellent service. The ravioli and risotto are top notch. Quite possibly the most heavenly citrus creme brûlée. You deserve a special mention too, tiramisu."
