"Absolutely amazing, surprisingly-affordable breakfast and baked goods! The Benny was delicious and the lox and eggs was incredible. And the Nanaimo bars were the best I've ever had in Nanaimo. Definitely recommend!"

"Food is pretty good, but when a waiter simultaneously spilled two drinks on two guys laps, the manager only offered to comp the drinks. Definitely not an appropriate response to such a major mistake, but after a great deal of debate with the manager, the two guys got their meals comped. Should have just started with that. Staff are usually friendly, and the atmosphere is casual. Great place for an expensive pub-style meal and an equally expensive drink, or to watch the game, they just need to brush up on the finer points of hospitality. Most of the staff and managers are young students, or just young in general, so lack of hospitality (and life) experience is definitely understandable. Great place to go to support working students."

"My wife and I have been here a few times for lunch and once for dinner. The service has always been good and the food is very good but the view is great. Try to get a table by the window and watch the boating world go by.The often have music on the weekends in season and once we showed up at a karaoke night.You can eat in the pub upstairs or dine in the fancy restaurant down below, which has a great outside deck"

"We were happy to celebrate the birthday of my aunt. we really enjoyed a window table with views of the marina and the canal. the service was excellent. we enjoyed our meal, the lamb and sesame-seated tuna entrees. we had only one derée because we are lighter, but both meals were very tasty. we will probably return and try something else."

"I spent some time there today, had medium blend coffee which I found too strong for me. I also had a slice of the most incredible Orange Loaf you can imagine. I was in a wheelchair so watched the lovely staff work so hard and be so pleasant and caring to all. It is a Great Place!"
