"We had breakfast daily at the Fifty Two 80 Bistro and enjoyed the buffet most days. I recommend ordering the hash browns off the a la carte menu which is a delicious scoop of cheesy, deep fried potato."

"Nice vibe going on in the restaurant, liked the fact that the table/seating areas were not all the same. We ordered from the bar, the Grants platter for two. My friend did want to order a burger too but I said this was going to...be more than enough food for the both of us. As on the menu, it contains beef brisket, half rack of ribs, BBQ dry rub chicken wings and BBQ pulled pork. Served with BBQ beans, BBQ sauce, jalapeno corn bread and we had some vegetable and fries as sides. When it arrived, it was huge!!! I knew we couldn't finish it but wasn't going to give up without a fight! I really enjoyed the chicken wings and ate all those along with the ribs. The cornbread was a little different but still tasty. the beans kept my mouth moist as there was so much food. I think they can offer this platter for up to 4 people and maybe decrease the size and the price for 2 people, as I don't like wasting food. They do provide a take-out box which I filled with our leftovers but I couldn't see any homeless people in Whistler."

"Our board held its quarterly meeting dinner at this private-party venue. It's a beautiful, rustic location. The staff and owner(s) were extremely friendly and responsive to our requests and last minute adjustments to the setup of the room (we are a picky, yet grateful, customer). The service was a bit on the slow side, because of the size of our group, I'm sure. The food was good and plentiful. The appetizer spread they put out for our pre-dinner socializing was amazingly good! This place is quintessential Whistler. I recommend it."

"Forgettable for service. Good burgers and sliced brisket sandwich, let down by service. Although it was at time amusing to watch the staff walk around with plates of food looking for tables... Except when it was for us!! Ring of Fire burgers were good, sliced beef sandwich also good. Beers were cold and fresh, once able to be served.<br/>Overall, worth a visit, and would be even better once a decent table system in place, and staff are trained to serve."
