"We had breakfast daily at the Fifty Two 80 Bistro and enjoyed the buffet most days. I recommend ordering the hash browns off the a la carte menu which is a delicious scoop of cheesy, deep fried potato."

"I think the photos say it all even the local say they go to yoga/gym then come here for a latte and a delicious pastry. It is such a difficult decision to make, drooling over the vast array of freshly baked scones, croissants, brioche, pastries, etc. Coffee is steaming, large and freshly brewed. Excellent venue and somewhere I don't wish to visit everyday, or my cholesterol is going to suffer!"

"Portion sizes are large and can be shared, my husband and I shared the burger and deli plate. Both were made with locally grown options while being pleasantly prepared. You need a reservation, we saw many people turned away while we enjoyed dinner on the patio. They also had a good variety of local wine and beer."

"Lately there was a lot of hype around the Raven Room, so I made a reservation well in advance to make sure that my husband and I can come here as part of our anniversary weekend in Whistler. We came for appetizers and cocktails and everything was super delicious! Our waitress was super- very friendly and let us immediately know that if there's something in the cocktail menu that appealed to us that something custom could be made. She was very helpful to make recommendations. Between my husband and the cocktails we tried were the local lemon bowl, Queen of Barbados, and I'm sorry I dropped your cherry. For appetizers we had the potato puffs and spicy Thai frits chicken. There the bowl is a good $16 per person and we have the equivalent of 2 drinks from it. The Queen of Barbados was not as sweet as I expected, but nevertheless was delicious. But the best cocktail by far was the 'berry I dropped your cherry!' which came recommended to man from our waitress as he likes sweet drinks. It was so unexpectedly delicious - normally we would deviate from a cherry aroma cocktail, but we are glad that we accepted their recommendation! It was my husband drinking, but I had some sips. The food was 10/10. Both appetizers were worth FULL of taste and every penny. I noticed that both appetizers are also part of their happy hour menu, which looks like a great offer! I can't say enough good things about the spicy Thai roasted chicken and potato puffs. The only reason for not rating 5 stars is some things are definitely much overpriced. For example, we have considered the scalop and shrimp appetizer, but when I asked how much food it is because they calculate $27, the waitress told me it was only about 3 of each. So $27 is steep. The Entree options have also not really appealed to us and definitely not for the price-point based on what we saw that other people get the portions are quite small. Overall the Raven Room lived until the hype and we would definitely come back!"
