"I recently had the pleasure of hosting the Monte Vista Men's basketball auction at Norm's Place in downtown Danville, and I can confidently say it was a night to remember! We booked their private room, which recently opened and it was a STATEMENT! From the impeccable service to the amazing cuisine, every aspect of our event exceeded my expectations! Gerry, the manager at Norm's Place, deserves special recognition for providing stellar service throughout the evening. His attention to detail and commitment to ensuring our event ran smoothly were truly commendable. Gerry and his team went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The staff at Norm's Place was nothing short of amazing. Their professionalism and friendliness added to the overall positive atmosphere of the event. It was evident that they were dedicated to ensuring every guest felt welcome and well taken care of. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the buffet, which boasted a mouthwatering array of dishes. The short ribs were tender and flavorful, the chicken was perfectly cooked, and the stuffed mushrooms were a delightful surprise. The mashed potatoes and veggies complemented the main courses beautifully, offering a well-rounded and satisfying dining experience. To top it all off, the dessert—fruit à la mode—was a showstopper. "I don’t know who the people that own this place got working in there but the racist comments that were just made to me will not slide. We ordered two salads to go and they tried to act like we were going to rob them. The lady who answered the phone said to another coworker “Don’t LEAVE FROM RIGHT HERE UNTIL I CLOSE THIS REGISTER”. The cook that brought are food looked like why would you say that We will not deal with stuff like this in America anymore! So we need to start making reviews when stuff like this happens. That was stereotypical of her to say."

"Had an awesome takeout experience today. Lemon chicken was perfectly fried, sauce on the side was delicious and nice and hot. My picky 2 year old looved it so that tells you something. Seafood noodle soup was also delicious, makes us excited to try the jampong version. Lots of veggies, perfectly done just how we like it. On the slightly bland side which is just perfect."

"Ordered fish and shrimp meal, asked for cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. Received tubs of butter. Asked that corn on the cob be a side. Got an extra cole slaw. Not charged for the corn, but hardly the point. The point is, we're done. No more second (twenty-third) chances."
